Duties of Notary Public
A Notary Public is a qualified public servant of a state who can provide oaths and affirmations and can be handed over as a main witness throughout the signing of vital records to avoid fraud. Institutions such as banks and escrow offices, which deal in monetary or real estate deals, commonly use notaries public. Many other legal documents need to be notarized in order to be filed and considered official by the issuing agency or company.

Having documents notarized can be a confusing event for someone who is not familiar with the Notary process. We have listed some general question and answers to our most frequent inquiries.
Q: What do I need to bring to the signing?
A: You will need to bring one of the following forms of approved identification.

A: In most cases, yes. Please contact our Notary to discuss your personal situation.
Q: The document I need notarized requires that multiple people sign but we all work different schedules. Do we all need to be present at the same time?
A: No. All signers can appear at different times
Q: I was sent a document from out of state. Can this document be notarized by a California notary?
A: Yes. California notaries can notarize documents originating from other states.
Q: Can you notarize at my office, jail, hospital, etc?
A: Yes. We will travel to any location you are comfortable with.
